Rediscovered this one recently, just in that mood today
Stick with it.. it pays off (IMO)
Faith No More - Angel Dust - MOFI Ultradisc II™
I can't stop listening to the SZA album. Her voice and the production is just great. I'm a big fan of dvsn and the like.
Remember this guy. "Let's Marvin Gaye" was one of the worst things I have ever heard in my life. That is a disservice to all his music and how he shaped the next generations.
He has become funky. Properly funky...
That was beautiful, thank you.
I've honestly not heard of him!
Glad you enjoyed it!
If the moody "Random Access Memories" is not dance-able enough, play this album. This album has a timelessness to it and gets better every listen. I am not in the mood for Disco, Funk or House and yet...
Eh, Daft Punk aren't really disco, funk or house.. sometimes they're accused of being electro, but mostly, I think they just are
That said, I have a slight nervous tic about attempts to shove things into genre-shaped boxes sometimes. If you push too hard, it can get reductive and you end up with..
"You won't find a better example of Madface than that.."
Agreed. Genres are often too rigid to categorise music. Daft Punk has a habit of defying genres and simply making you feel better or fascinated by something weird...
