What makes a product high-end?

    Btw, the funny thing about Lampizator, is that he started modifying products, usually real high end ones, like vintage Luxman, Spectral and CEC CD transports.

    Notice how fucked up ends everything, and how he claims that it's better

    To not post 100% bile, a real high end product (for me):
    ATC SCM20ASL PRO MK2

    5.5k usd per pair, but...aluminum front panel, active analog crossovers, Bi-amped with 250W LF/50W HF class A/B amplifiers, state of the art propietary drivers. ATC speakers are used by tons of professionals during decades, so it has stood the test of time nicely and is practically impossible to find one pair in the second hand market. 5.5k is more than justified in this case.

    I recall him as far back as, I think, taking Squeezebox innards and somehow tubifying them. Looks like there was previous history before that.

    It might be possible to put together a great-sounding box that looks like a... a... wait, actually this one is easy: looks like I made it! But I'd rather have my engineering looking half-decent, whether it is a car or an amplifier.
