    We've got a decent bank right now from donation, and also some funds coming in from OJ (paid back money for Reduction, the sale of the Jupiter, and various other people.

    Seems some interest in the portable player?
    Focal Elear?

    I am also thinking L700, but it seems a rather clunky and super expensive package with amp, energizer, headphone.

    As a cheapie the Shozy Zero gets my pick as something worth sending around. If the L700 is hard to get ears on for most people I would say that is an excellent idea as well.

    Aren't there some other cheapo IEMs too? Maybe cheapo portable players.

    The Focal Elear is an interesting one, and so would the Kennerton Vali as nobody here has herd either (well Grizleybeast is the one that told me about the Vali)

    But I'll throw this out there. There are many here that modded their HD800 with the "super dupont ultra resonator" thingy, and I bet they'd all love to hear their HD800 against the HD800S. (I'm not going to lie, I'd selfishly like to hear it too)

    This for sure! If we have to chose one of the variants, let's do the ER4SR (studio reference). We need a mid tier (in terms of pricing), neutral reference, universal IEM that offers value & performance.. and one that's between the cheapie stuff and the Andromeda. Best part is that Ety's build quality is top tier, too.

    Elear if the hype keeps up.

    Shozy zero wouldn't really make sense unless its packaged with 3 or 4 other budget iems imo.

    Maybe stock hd650 for people to compare against their mods.

    Maybe some of the new xmos usb to spdif converters?

    Elear has a huge dip at 4Khz. The Utopia looks the more interesting one.

    I'd like to see more high end UIEM measurements such as Angie, Layla, K10U, A12U etc.

    I recommend the Fiio EX1 with Comply tips but it needs EQ.

    Etymotic ER4SR/XR would be another recommendation.

    Elear for sure. Utopia is just more expensive than is practical for a community buy. If it comes out and everyone is freaking out like it's the new Abyss (haven't heard about that thing in a looong time) then maybe we can revisit it.

    I'm sure one of us can send Marvey their K10 to measure. Mine is the ciem, I can send it, but if someone has the universal so much the better.

    How about the Questyle QP1r as a loaner? Might be nice to see how Marvey compares it to the other daps and then try it ourselves.
