WTB: CD Player/Transport

Must be willing to ship to Canada.

Must have coax out.

Prefer to be small. Prefer to also function as a DAC with optical input.

You didn't mention budget, and I don't know how that price is for the pair. Maybe the seller would split them if you wanted only the transport. @crazychile might have some input on these.

No seller feedback, so might be best to do any deal in person.

 

I've got a nad one I got at Goodwill for $5. Spent about $10 fixing it so you can have it for $15 if you want. I'll check the model. Has coax pretty sure

 

That price is pretty high. But it's Canada so maybe it's normal. The Sigma I wouldn't worry about too much for reliability, but the Delta transport is 20+ yrs old. It's hard to tell if it would become a paperweight 5 minutes after purchasing. I'd feel better recommending it if it was closer to $100 or under.

 

This pair is on the upper end of recent prices I saw on hifishark, but it isn't outrageously out of line. But if the need is still for compact (footprint, if not height), coax-out transport, and an optical input, the pair does fit the bill.

 

I've got a cheapo CD transport and I no longer need this one. Lots of thanks, folks!
