Thanks, @Wilson. I was in contact with this seller. Turns out he does not accept PayPal, will only accept a bank transfer as payment. He also prefers to keep the sale in Canada. I did not feel comfortable doing an international bank transfer to a complete stranger, albeit one with a good selling history. He stated he might consider selling to me in the CONUS, but was noncommittal. Therefore, I passed on this one.

 

Ask Arthur from Powerholdings. He might have something, probably not very likely. He could then ask in Germany but I also doubt they have any stock at all. The V222 has succeeded the V280 after all.

 

Thank you, @Huhnkopf. I was looking at the Violectric site last night and discovered the HPA V222. It looks like Power Holdings may just have the V222 available. However, they are charging a bit of a premium price as it just became available and it seems he is the only plave selling it in the North America. I will most likely purchase one from them anyway if available.

 

I've got a friend with a V281 that might be interested in selling, but we are also in Canada.

 

Power Holdings did indeed have the V222 on stock so I decided to purchase one. They even had free shipping. Now the wait with everyone sending packages over the holidays.
