WTS: DNA Stratus 2A3 + Tubes - $2250

Unfortunately to be able to afford rent I have to let my Stratus go. Due to the volume of tubes I have for it I'm going to post this as a base price with duplicates of the one of the rectifier and power tubes I have plus 2a3s as the "stock package" and if you want extra tubes, we'll discuss that. Version is a V2 with the choke upgrade.

Rectifier:
GEC U52 (yes, that holy grail U52). Its branded Cossor but I asked the resident tube expert Gibosi and he said

"You are correct in thinking it is not a Cossor. While the pictures aren't great, it certainly looks like a GEC U52.
And you are also correct in thinking that Cossor didn't make the U52. Legally, GEC owned the name "U52" so they were the only company that could use that label. And Cossor owned the name "53KU", and so in the same way, they were the only company that could use that label. These tubes are almost identical, electrically, and back in the day, they were considered interchangeable in most applications. So I am surprised that the U52 is OK in the Stratus, but the 53KU is not...."

Speaking from experience, your best bet is to sell and price the amp with stock tubes and sell the extra tubes on the side or as an extra with price for each or bundle.
I know you know what the U52 is and I appreciate it myself but without the experience or research of rectifiers no buyer will pay for it especially without testing results.

 

Yup that's exactly what I'm doing. I don't have stock tubes for the amp but I edited the op to reflect that "stock" will be 2a3s plus duplicates of tubes I have. U52 comes separate and I'm actually going to keep it because I did some budgeting and found out I'll be in a good place to get another Stratus or a Stellaris before the end of the year so I'm probably keeping it unless someone blows me away with an offer.
