FS/FT: Soekris dac1541 for your Holo Audio Spring DAC Lvl 1/2 or Holo Audio Cyan (PCM)

This is a LONG ass shot, but I may as well try: I want to trade my dac1541 for your Spring DAC level 1 or 2, or a Cyan (PCM version.) I...added the NOS filter to the dac1541 and now I want to branch out and try the Holo Audio stuff. For right now, I'm just leaving this up for a chance at trading, but I'll switch to selling it if nothing comes of this trade offer. I actually quite like this dac (it's super neutral, and does certain things better than the Gungnir Multibit,) but that NOS potential has me curious.

Hey so if you do wanna sell rather than trade as the subject suggests, what's the price on it?

 

If I do a sale, I'll probably price it at about $1,180. That would place it at a straight trade for a Spring DAC Lvl 1, and some money extra for a Lvl 2. Despite the Lvl 2 being priced new at the same price as the dac1541, I didn't pay the full dac1541 price (though the money that came out of my pocket for shipping and fees during the group buy made up for that, haha.)

 

I have a audial model S mk2 @Hands preferred over the spring dacs, if you don't mind that instead.

 

Someone approached me early last night about selling it to him if I ended up doing that. So, in a random move, I decided to take a chance and order a new Gungnir Multibit to see if got the analog upgrade.

 

What makes you think there is an analog upgrade??

 

the original rumor that started late September, early October was that the Yggdrasil and Gungnir Multibit were getting analog updates and they were rolling out soonish. The Yggdrasil one ended up being true, and they got a new serial number. I was told the Gungnir Multibit has a new serial number now, and just like the Yggdrasil a month before the Yggdrasil released with it, the Gungnir Multibit is backordered.

So, I'm thinking they rolled it out early.
