Like power cable companies founded by guys who learned about power supplies in the military and publish bullshit papers with no good real world examples of why their $150+ power cables do anything more than $15 medical grade cables?
Or that you can buy a used SOLAHD industrial power conditioner for like $300-400 that weighs 150lbs and outperforms audiophile conditioners with series mode surge protection that cost many many thousands of dollars?
I'm not sure if I hate the snake oil sellers, or the people who very seriously and self-importantly debate the impossible imaginary differences. The punters are often self-victimising, more or less.
As a college educated former scientist, nothing in audio gets me wound up faster than crystals placed in a room to improve sound. The continued existence of these "products" boggles my mind.
