Also y'all for Saturday the plan is @famish99's house during the day to check out his system and maybe have a few tasty bevs. After that, machetes (really long tacos that can feed 2 people) at Machetes Dona Leova and then checking out Scott's sweet system for evening festivities.

Let's do barbecue Sunday at 11am and then start the meet. The line moves quickly and the moist brisket is noteworthy here. Parking can be tight so if y'all want to rendezvous at my place first and we pack as many people into as few cars as possible, we can do that.

If we decide we ever need to eat again, we can toss around ideas for Sunday dinner during the meet. We have plenty of amazing options.

 

I live near @noisyscott as well so I'm willing to host a small number of people (only because my room is tiny, unless you want to come over just for drinks) during the day Saturday as well.

 

Sunday pre-meet has been decided. Terry Black's barbecue. The above post has been updated with a map link. It's a local favorite and y'all will love it.

 

It's confirmed that the Weiss loaner will be there (with Noise Nuke but no LPS), so we'll be able to let everyone get ears on that too.

@crenca is bringing his Cyan 2, so we'll be able to see just how close it comes to the May KTE with HQP applied. Hopefully it's a value king!

We'll have a lot to get through. Maybe we'll hit it all, maybe we won't, but I can promise we'll have fun along the way!

 

FWIW, I was at a concert last night and the artist said "I had the best barbecue OF MY f'ing LIFE yesterday at Terry Black's barbecue" so y'all bring your appetites and ready yourselves for some meat sweats.

Personally, the best part about eating great barbecue is the fact that your burps taste like smoked meat for the rest of the day.

A couple of times, we have had Black's flown out to California via Fed-Ex. So, you can virtually be at this meat. Erm, meet.
