I got mine on Thursday, not a bad turnaround since I ordered Sunday night. Probably needless to say but I'm extremely happy with them.

I was using spin fits with my Earsonics, but with the Andromeda they do not seem to go in far enough are not very comfortable. Complys feel pretty good, although at the moment I'm using Xcessor triple flange silicone tips that I got from Amazon and I think I like these best. But will definitely spend some time with the Complys again to compare how they sound.

This analogy made me understanding the difference between Andro and Jupiter so easy. Thank you. Does this mean that there will be a lot of people who might prefer Jupiter against Andro since many people prefer HD650 against HD600? (I personally prefer HD600 though). :)

Think HD600, but with more lower end. Also Andro has closer to HD800 technicalities than Jupiter.

I think most people will choose Andromeda.

No. Its about 45 percent here right now. I just checked again and within about 20 minutes there were little droplets of moisture on the outside of the tube.

I've seen this as well while using spiral dots. About 65% humidity here.

Probably risky to continue using them then, right?

It happens to me with complys and spiral dots. Haven't had any issues though, as the condensation only seems to collect on the front facing side of the bores.

I think condensation is pretty normal if you are wearing them for extended periods of time. If it is a concern, buy one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003I7WMGC/ and stick your shells in there once a week.

    Should it be a concern?

Moisture is never something you want around electronics, but I wouldn't get worked up about it. IEMs are robust, made to be worn for long periods of time. It'll be years before you could potentially have an issue and even then maybe never. The de-humidifier is really just for those that are in A) live in very humid climate B) want peace of mind / overkill / OCD about their gear

    Hi Folks,

Like to hear more impressions on K10U vs Andro. Have read many threads or feedbacks everywhere however like to know what were the key reasons that made you purchase Andro over K10U or vice versa.

    thanks

Unless you go to a high-end restaurant, you should be fine.

I created an account - just to say that i preordered the Andromeda at my local dealer.

    herpderp the wait begins.

(random thought - the 334 sounds like utter ass compared to the Andro)

I finally got ears on this thing at my local dealer, tried them with the Modi 2 Uber and Asgard 2 on hand (which I am familiar with).

Clarity and resolution were outstanding, in particular spatial cues and note sustain. These impressive qualities combined with a very even FR made it picky with recordings (a good thing in my book). I'd prefer a shade more bass, but aside from that my only real complaint in terms of sound is that it imparts an odd nasal quality to male vocals (I spotted this listening to REM - Murmur, MFSL). Its a niggling issue that only occasionally pops up, but its enough for me to withhold unequivocal praise for the Andromeda.

Comfort was not great with the large shell and straight edges on it, which made fiddling with tips and insertion to get fit right that much more annoying.

I'm really impressed by it for the most part, and I wonder if the odd effect on male vocals I heard could be resolved by using a device with a different output impedance.

How would these compare bass wise to Sony ex1000 or custom art h8? These sound like they are really amazing, but I just worry I won't like them if they are too bass light. I don't need my normal basshead levels of bass, but I do need some impact. I really enjoyed the H8 but it was too bass light to enjoy.
