My experience with them was pretty bad. The comfort was terrible. The sound before burn-in was quite bad; it got somewhat better after burn-in, but never got good enough for me to want to keep them. I concluded the OK sound didn't begin to make up for bad comfort--so I sold them.
If memory serves, the selling point on this HP was that it had the same driver as the beloved Fidelio X2/X2HR, but supposedly with a "reference" (less fun) tuning. None of that seemed true or even made sense to me while owning it. Suffice to say I still have my Fidelio X2 (the very definition of fun tuning, for which I'm grateful) and not the A800.
