I had a really busy purchasing week as I continue to chase the elusive endgame. This has meant that I need to thin some beloved items out of the closet. Darn you all for turning me on to the DSHA-3F...

I figured I would link to some of the items here in case any folks are looking for this sort of stuff. Of course, happy to make more friendly deals to SBAF friends. If you are interested in anything below hit me up!

SOLD These are the hardest for me to sell, but big purchases require big sacrifices. I landed on Klipsch Forte IV as a better fit for my living room use case, so these are just living in my closet and would be for the foreseeable future, so I figured it better to put the funds toward other fun stuff. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649825928-graham-chartwell-ls6f-in-ebony/

SOLD Love this preamp, but I am back to a mix of balanced and SE components, so moving back to Freya S/+. Headamp is surprisingly solid, and the phono is as good as any dedicated phono stage I have heard under $1k. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649722993-akitika-pr-102-preamp-with-phono-and-headphone-amp/

SOLD This suspension Yamaha deck is quite the vintage piece. Striking in person, amazingly musical. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649825910-yamaha-pf-800-with-grado-sonata-2/

SOLD Bought this from @shotgunshane to use with the Yamaha PF-800, but decided I don't need another turntable living in a box in the closet, and won't be working enough in person to justify keeping for my office. Listed at the same price I bought at. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649825865-dynavector-dv-10x5/

WOW those Grahams!! I literally just impulse bought a set of Kudos Cardea C30. I wish I wouldn’t have because I think I’d have more fun with the Graham. Someone needs to get these!

I would love to get them to someone from SBAF, they are literally my perfect speaker, which is why it is so difficult to sell them. Supremely natural and effortless sounding. My reference are LS3/5a...if I had a bigger office it would be these. All the magic of the LS3/5a but less ruthless, more dynamic, more inviting, way better bass.

Just a little undersized for my big upstairs living room, although the way the thin-wall BBC cabinet thing works would trick you about this being a 6" woofer. The Klipschs ended up being better for my multiuse family space, and I am less worried about keeping the toddler away from the Fortes. These were going to literally sit in my closet for years until I could use them downstairs safely around my kids, so I decided better to enjoy the DSHA-3F now and say goodbye to these lovely speakers.

Sold the PR-102 on USAM, the LS6f/Yamaha PF-800/Dynavector all still available. Have lots of folks poking around the LS6f, but would still love to get them to someone in this community looking for their forever speaker. Would do $3k to me plus split shipping cost for SBAF friends.

I have another fun one to add, that for now, I am posting just on SBAF. I am selling my modded/upgraded GT-102 Z4 power amp. (Z4 version is stable for speakers that live in the 4-ohm region, but was a great fit with my 11 ohm speakers also) I enjoyed the stock GT-102 when I tried it out, but I found it a bit thin and hollow-sounding for my liking. A skilled DIY buddy of mine was interested in trying to upgrade the GT-102, and after a few iterations for his own use, he whipped this one up for me that is really just a stellar amp that has served me super well. A lot more full-bodied sounding, and with much more authoritative bass. Overall just ultra-clean sounding like the stock GT-102, but with life and texture. Super quiet/cool running, literally cannot tell it is on levels of blackground. Included stock photo to compare below to this build. List of upgrades include:
    • DC Scrapper
    • Gold Platted RCA Jacks
    • Nicer speaker terminals
    • Upgrade caps to Muse
    • Solid OCC coil wiring
    • Cardas silver solder throughout
    • Massive Muse power cap(s) (I think this is the true secret sauce here)
    • VH Audio Pulsar Cu II internal RCA wire
    • VH Audio OCC copper hookup wire
    • Casing dampened
    • Herbie's Tenderfoot (x4) in place of hard rubber stock feet
I am asking $600 for this, and will split the actual shipping cost.

My beloved LS6f sold locally. While I am bummed I was not able to keep them in the SBAF family, I was able to sell them to the shop owner at my old neighborhood hole-in-the wall record/hi-fi shop. He got me into hi-fi while I was crate digging and I bought my first proper turntable from him, so fun to hook him up with these.

Akitika GT-102 still available, @rhythmdevils is going to audition it for driving orthos though, so it will be with him for a couple of weeks.

Yamaha PF-800 and Dynavector still available. Would make a killer bundle (dynavector should pair great with this arm, bought it for this purpose). Would do the two bundled for $850 for SBAF, and still split shipping cost.

I'm happy to ship the Attika amp to anyone interested in buying it at any time directly to them and happy to take new pictures as well. Just tag me here or send me a pm. the sale gets first priority over me listening to it. thanks

Yep! Pete is such a good guy, I was thrilled when he asked to audition these and decided to take them off my hands. Feel free to PM me, would love to connect.

As an update on the Yamaha PF-800, the dynavector sold separately so can not longer bundle, I would do $500 on the Yamaha PF-800 for SBAF friends and contributors.

Everything from the original post has sold!

The modded GT-102 Z4 is still up for grabs, although we will see if @rhythmdevils is willing to part with it when he is done auditioning. Sounds like it is quite the performer with headphones, something I never considered trying out.
