I have an RCA 6SN7 that I've never used, and nothing to use it in, gathering dust in its box on a shelf.

I've got a 12SN7 National Union Black glass you can have for free. eBay tricked me with the featured items when I was looking at 6SL7 tubes and I bought these thinking they were 6SL7's. Then only 1 tube came.

Free for you or anyone else who wants it. From a great tube seller, measures NOS.

No it's' a 12SN7 but some amps that take one take the other as well, like the Liquid Glass. So I just thought I'd offer.

I have a red base RCA 5691 - which is the 6SL7 equivalent - that I'm willing to part with for a Friend price. Just shoot me a PM if interested since you have a lot of bites. I misread it as a 5692 when I bought it from @Inoculator. (Singles are about $200. You will be surprised at the friend price.)

EDIT: I could throw in a non-RCA brand 6sn7, too

I've got a bunch of 6LS7's that I tried in my mogwai before settling on the rca 5691. I've been meaning to go thru them...

    Grant Fidelity 6sl7 (new production)
    (2) Tungsol 6sl7gt (new production)
    JJ 6SL7 (new production)

    brimar 6sl7/CV1985 (brown base)
    (2) RCA 6sl7gt
Sylvania Gold Brand 6sl7wgt (brown base)
    Kenrad vt229
    (2) RCA vt229
    Sylvania vt229
    Philips Holland 6sl7gt (labeled Adzam)

    Raytheon 6sn7gtb
    RCA 6sn7gt
    Reflector 6N9S (6H9C)
    ----edit----
make sure you try @Vansen 's 5691... of course it will be amp dependent, but I found the 5691 to be an awesome tube
    ----edit----
I've had people ask about my crazy tube rolling journey... I purchased the mogwai used years ago and the seller included all of the new production tubes, the sylvania VT229, the Philips 6sl7 and an RCA 6sl7gt. From what he sent, I preferred the RCA with the JJ a close second. I picked up a backup to the RCA and then started trying others over the years, switching to the RCA vt229 (and purchased a backup), before finally settling on the RCA 5691 (also have a backup). The 6sn7 tubes were purchased for an OG saga (that I no longer have).

Seems like you have plenty of choices, but I also have quite a few 6sn7 and 6sl7's that I'm willing to part with for below market prices, so if you make it this far down in the list let me know.
