I suggest these tasteless, garish objects be used exactly as one uses one of the dozens of solid gold toilet bowls in Trump palaces everywhere (pull strings to flush).

 

Someday you'll see kids in 3rd world countries wearing those garish shoes that nobody would buy.

EDIT: Hey - maybe SBAF should get a pair for a loaner. Maybe when you wear them, your system sounds more bigly, more full, more Trumpian.

Sorry to be serious for a monet, but is this total crap? It's just a load, right? Or is it crap because real transducer loads vary all the time?

(It's crap, according to me, simply because I have never believed in burn-in of electronics. But that's just me)

This device is not total crap--it is a load, and to burn in a headphone amp, one usually loads it--but it's less than an ideal load because real headphones vary (as loads) by frequency.

I totally believe in burn-in & do it with any new amps, DACs, and headphones. I realize this opens me up to attacks of all kinds, but it's how I roll. And BTW, I'm totally fine with others thinking burn-in is total crap. But IMS, it's my ears, my rules.

 

OK OK OK.... I am not sorry to be serious for a Monet. I'd have Manet of them if I had the Munet. A whole load!
