    Hi,


    After recent mishaps I realize this might go better to someone who would be able to appreciate it currently.

    I purchased this a while ago from this listing and have put woefully little use into the unit -- I'd estimate less than 100 hours with most of this time front-loaded in the first year of ownership.

    Includes everything it came with (with some new input tubes too), but local to Bay Area only. This is not just because shipping everything would be a huge hassle, but I'd like to meet the prospective new owner to see they'd be able to give this thing the love and appreciation it deserves.

    Obviously I won't ask a penny more than what I paid, which I understand is very cheap for the workmanship and level of build put into this specific unit.

    I'd consider a HeadAmp Aristaeus v2 in partial trade, but again this would have to all be in-person. No other Stax/DIY offerings would tempt me at this time.

    Will share over PM with interested parties. It's basically what I paid Tari and admins are aware of the exact amount I'm asking; just not ready to publicly expose the price right now.

    IMHO it's cheap enough that it's worth a drive over for pickup even if you're not in California -- and you'd have the benefit of audition to confirm that for yourself.

    Honestly, Nabil is close to changing his mind. I'd pick it up. He and I have been talking about him downsizing forever and I am hoping it goes to someone who actually will want to keep it for a long time. One hell of an amp.

    Can vouch for the awesomeness both 3X0 and the awesome builder on this unit , George P (who was really peeved that it ever hit the used market.) Don't know if anyone else is making with this level of care who isn't making it for themselves.

    Totally understand why you prefer not to ship! I arranged a 14 hour drive to Canada to pick it up in the first place.
