Pre-Canjam So-Cal 2024 Meet

Hi friends,

It's been a while since we had an LA meet for SBAF so I thought I would volunteer as the host this time

I was thinking we can do downstairs for headphones and upstairs for speakers and vinyl!

The meet will be in the Porter Ranch/ Northridge area and we can go to a local Korean restaurant for food after

Canjam Socal 2024 will be 9/28 to 9/29 so I guess we should plan fast and figure this thing out.

Personally, weekends work better for me since I have a 9-5 job, but let's see what everyone's availabilities are in the upcoming weeks

Thanks for doing this! I am available 26th-29th before or during the nights of CanJam.
Am looking forward to listening to the famous SoCal rigs and hearing about the modding journeys.
Don't have anything new to bring down this time.
I'll probably be running on coffee and protein bars, food wise.
For headphone rig testing, CDs might be better to help isolate what the headphone tube rigs are doing.
Vinyl for speakers, just to enjoy?

Just tagging the usual SBAF el-lay crew members. No worries if you can't make it, looks like Howard is planning another sbaf meet soon anyway

 

My flight is due at about noon (into SNA) . So would just need to figure out transport as I will not have a car..dB

 

It might be tough for me to make, work starts early 4-5am M-F, and school Saturdays 7am-2:30pm. Will update as date gets closer

 

Work has been and will continue to be a pain for me to take time off, especially at the end/beginning of the month. Thanks for letting me know though.

 

I just became a dad, so it’s gonna be tough to get out for a while

If you host this I most likely won't hold the event. Just wanted to put something out there earlier in case there were no other local events this year.

Not sure if I can make it next week Thursday though. I'll also have to update as next week plays out.

 

I think you should still hold the event! This is more like a smaller get-together than an official event.
