I looked into this b/c someone told me it came with wine. $23/record + good wine would be a good deal. Right now my record collection strategy is telling everyone I suspect has records in their basement from the 70s to sell me their dusty old collections. It's working. I've got a bunch coming in next week from a guy at work. :)
I've been a subscriber for the better part of 2016. The monthly records are curated well IMO, and provide a great change of pace from my usual genres. It gives my record collection some pleasant diversity considering I usually just buy shitty punk records.
If I could foot the $284 bill I would do it right now. They have some great records that they put out in the past and I am in love with that limited edition colored vinyl.
I've been a member for three months. This is not a record club of old. They go to great lengths to make a quality product that is in some way distinct from any other available version. For some albums it's just colored vinyl of the latest mastering but sometimes they commission their own remasters and get new or custom artwork. I am very pleased with them and wish I had joined sooner.
Thanks, I've never heard of this. Are the records quiet? Colored vinyl has a checkered history for noise, but that's not to say they can't get it right.
