Anyway, I don't have any closed-back phones so...

I've only tried them in demo settings but they're a known reference for production and that could be useful in and of itself. Horrible imaging for gaming, but I somehow doubt that'll be much of a problem for you haha.

Working in TV, the 7506 is the standard headphone for our editors and content creators, we probably have hundreds of them, as is true of other facilities I have seen. As ASR will tell you, it is pretty much Harman curve, so for SBAF folks it isn't a pleasure headphone. It isolates well, has a predictable response, and decent build for price. They're basically Avantones for headphones. Even Amir didn't enjoy them

Well, that doesn't sound good! I thought there might have been a reason why I'd never heard of them on the hifi scene.

Isolation might be useful one day... I'll put the on the shelf for now.
