I think they're gone... I've been trying to get a response about my Allo USBridge Sig player for a few weeks now. The ethernet on it died, rendering it useless (and a USB Ethernet dongle doesn't work either)

Shanti indeed was one of the most value for money product in this hobby. I hope they come back again.

@dasman66 a wifi Edimax EW-7811UN could get you by... I use one permanently, those front usb ports are isolated plus separate power regulators.

@Scott Kramer but how do you get into the OS to set the wifi settings? I know nothing about Linux, other than I can install Ropiee...

@dasman66 I believe this is OS-dependent. I use moOde and recall it started with a temporary WiFi network that I could connect to and perform the initial setup. But I'm still not sure it would work for your setup because it first needs to detect that the Ethernet is unplugged, I think (do not have a broken Ethernet so simply not sure).

I just went to the ropiee website to see if it would create its own temporary hotspot (like moode... I had forgotten it did that on my office setup). Looks like the only usb wifi support is for the realtek chipset... gotta find that now...
