I accidentally end up shortening cmd/ ps commands in Windows from living in Cisco IOS.

Additionally, there's a bash shell available in Win 10. Never used it, but it's there.

LOL, I'm OK at home. It's just when I go other locations with mixed windows, OSX, and linux environments. So it gets annoying.

I was gong to say, what, no "alias" equivalent in Windows? But @Garns has it covered.

I confess: I have a script called ipconfig that tells me I should have typed ifconfig! I suppose I could alias that, but then I'd never learn to get it right.

use powershell.. ls works.
