    In my experience, having a shared bank account for House expanse, food and family stuff as well as separate account for personal hobbies, making gifts etc... is solving a lot of issues.

    Another update:

    We got sample boards in (two months late now) for testing and one cap popped (in wrong way), and we needed to tweak a few resistors and one cap. All the boxes are done. Our assembler is ready. We've ironed out the issues for now. Basically we are waiting on the production boards to arrive. Any time now, but course any time could be another month. Just hold on a bit longer and thanks for waiting!

    BTW, everyone who has contacted us so far should get in the first run of 50. Just barely.

    FYI, there are two boards in the amp, a power supply board and the amp board. The shunt regulated power supply will get hot (much much more so than the first BW run), so recommend good circulation on top.

    The new version is smoother (less grainy) in the treble. I probably wouldn't be able to tell unless I put the two side by side. We plan on a having a loaner unit available.

    Because I told Craig to raise the price to take as much money as possible from you guys, and he didn't want to; but a lot of unexpected stuff happened during production which raised costs a little bit per unit. I'll get screenshots of the internals - this is not a cheap amp to make. I'll be making enough money to buy maybe half of an LP for each unit sold. This is more of a marketing project to get the EC sound more known out there because Craig, against my advice, doesn't want to pay Jude a dime. So we don't care about making money on these, but we don't want it hurt either. So no lasered hourglass on the knobs. Yes, they were lasered on the first run.
