I was watching video of barrage rogues and was thinking the same thing. I figured I'd switch at high level also. It looked super fun

 

One thing i wish i knew earlier is that when you extract a lego aspect and put it one another item it’s a one time deal. So if you roll something high and really good it might best to safe it for endgame. You need to enable advanced tooltips to see how good something is. It shows a range like 10-25% for example so if you get something that does 25% save it, but if it rolled 12% then it’s whatever.

 

The people bitching there is no "quality of life" features in D4 need to enable advanced tooltips. Such a great feature.

 

Technicolor puke cellphone game. The og Diablo is still the only great Diablo game.

I have the feeling it'll be like Lost Ark where you buy a pet for 1, 3, 6, 12 months using money to pick up items for "QoL". I didn't mind using it in LA since it was part of the beginner package and you got a heck of a deal but having to pay for something like this on top of the season pass? Nah.

It's ridiculous how strong this is, seen builds like this melt the butcher in a couple of seconds. Wish i was running this instead of my weak af pulverize build when i ran into him.

 

Anyone playing season 1? Lot's of blabla and crying but i'm having a blast. Just made a necro and corpse explosion is the best thing in the game. Nothing like spamming that button and causing a controlled series of detonations down a hallway.

 

I'm playing Season 1 as a Barb but the malignant hearts are a bit underwhelming. Maybe when I get my HOTAs build up I can see what synergies work well with it. Also, I'm still not part of the clan after sending an invite.

 

Agreed on the hearts, but they have some ultimate ones or something that look interesting. As for the sbaf team it wasn't very active or for me at least people were active on different times so i left.

 

I was planning to play but I injured my hand and gaming is still a bit painful for extended periods.

 

Haven't had time to play since the (bad) patch but I will try this weekend. I am stuck in the Eternal realm at level 52 because I slow played the main story and am just in Act IV. Just a casual and not happy with what I have heard about the changes for people stuck in Eternal, but we'll see. And hoping for hotfixes!

 

I did a lvl 80 bone spear necrosexydancer in world tier 4 and ran a bunch of nightmare dungeons. Kind of got burned out but cool build I'll go back to and max out eventually. Only thing I missed was about 12 side quests, can't do some cuz I blew through campaign and at least one is bugged out still.

Started a barbarian on season one and doing campaign again. Started with 6 points from last renown. Lvl to 27 not bad might respec but too many choices and it's too nice out when it's not raining ! Cool game though I loved it even with all the broken things weird nerfs/buffs and other blizzard stuff lol

 

Still not happy with last week's patch, think just nerfing everything makes for a less fun game overall. Got my Necro to 100 on the eternal realm with a Bone Spear build. Its vul and crit got nerfed quite a bit which demoralized me a bit for the Uber Lilith fight.

Started S1 on a Rogue, the Malignant Hearts I have gotten so far have been pretty nice and does encourage a different playstyle. Only gotten to like level 34 or so with a few sessions as life has been busy and I been playing other games.

Also I accidentally activated my Premium Battlepass which kinda pisses me off. Its two clicks to confirm if I want to salvage my legendries at the blacksmith and its one click to activate the premium battlepass. Feels either cynical from Blizzard or just bad UI.

 

same concern - is d4 fun beyond 5-10 hours if i can only play a few hours a week?
d1 was fun. actually im going to reinstall rn.
d2 was fun up to a point then it just felt like a grindfest to get pvp items. i hated having to make more characters = needed to spend too much more time just to be able to try different builds instead of being able to respec a single character. eventually the time i had to spend was less enjoyable than actual pvp play. that and the server issues that eventually plagued the servers due to item cloning made the game unplayable online given that it was impossible to stay connected for more than 10 minutes at a time.
d3 was interesting for like 20 minutes but i wanted to believe and gave it more time. found the next 5 or 10 hours boring, stopped playing after that.

worried d4 will be too much like d3 and most other modern "the company needs to squeeze money from the masses" type of game where it feels like the in game model and formula is not built around having most fun but "LOOK FLASHY EFFECTS AND SHINY ITEMS CHARACTER BECOME BIG MAN SPEND YOUR MONEY NOW". Friends complaining about recent patch seem to confirm the above. I would like to be wrong though.
