Hi All, it's time to clear out a few things I just don't use anymore. First time seller here - have bought from a few members, and also have selling experience on eBay and Reddit. Happy to provide more pictures or verification for any interested buyers. All sales are for Friends and Contributors only. All prices (in USD) include PayPal fees and shipping in CONUS. [SOLD] Audeze LCD-X

Asking Price for:
LCD-X with ZMF standard XLR Cable - $625
LCD-X with standard Audeze 1/4" cable - $600
LCD-X without Cable* - $575

I got a great discount buying multiple items, and am passing some of that discount along here to fellow SBAF'ers. Includes the Audeze box, plus option of cable, or no cable.

*Note there are three different prices! I'm willing to sell it as it was originally sold to me with a ZMF balanced cable, but, I'd rather keep the cable, so preference goes to buyers who would rather have a standard Audeze cable or no cable at all. If you buy it with no cable, you acknowledge that you have (or will procure) your own cable!

Here's the good news - this is the 2021 version, so by my math, if someone wanted the @rhythmdevils mod, they could buy this headphone, plus the mod, and come in around the ballpark cost of just an LCD-X new!

Here's the bad news - I reached out to @rhythmdevils and @loadexfa, and they currently are not accepting new orders. If you want to buy this and planning to get it modded, please don't inundate them with requests for the wait time!

Last note - from @loadexfa - they recommend "the Forza Claire HPC due to how good is sounds with our mods." if you want to buy the no-cable option and get one they recommend.

[SOLD] Schiit Asgard 3 - $130

This is the "just an amp" version. I'm the second owner. I just never really meshed with its more laid back sound, and replaced it with a Schiit Sys for desktop monitor duty, so no longer have a need for it. Includes the original shipping box, manual, and I can round up a power cable to include, too.

Emotiva A-100 BasX - $88

I'm the original owner of this one, bought at the end of 2019. This is the older model with the big transformer. It does have the option to install jumpers, but, I can't find them right now, so assume this item does not ship with the jumpers! If I find them, I'll of course include them. If it's really important, let me know, and I can help contact Emotiva to see if they can provide a model number and I can try to get some from Mouser or something.

Other important thing to note - this amp has a bit of static out of the amp section when it's first turned on, but it goes away after about 5 minutes of warm up. I haven't heard it in the headphone section. I contacted Emotiva about it, and they said it was normal, so, I guess it's normal, but wanted to disclose it. I am pretty sure I have some recorded audio samples if any prospective buyers want to hear it.

[SOLD] iFi Hip-Dac (original) plus extras! - $56

Purchased this from @Biodegraded this summer (original listing), thinking I'd use it around the house and when traveling. I ended up taking it on a road trip and only used it once the whole time. Sounds good with my Audeze cans via balanced connection, but, I just don't use it enough to justify keeping it.

I'm asking the same price I paid for it, which includes everything in the original listing (no IEMS), but now also includes a Moondrop UP! XLR to 4.4mm adapter, purchased new from Audio 46.

What tubes died on you?

 

6P15P. I'm not a real lover of tubes, and usually only buy amps that use readily available new production tubes. But I broke my own rule and bought the Decware Zen triode, partly because at the time they sold those tubes direct. Decware blew up in popularity (deservedly so - great amp!), and Russian tubes got harder to come by, and it appears they stopped selling just the tubes on their site to preserve their own stash. So, using the Audiolab while I get the lay of the land and figure out my options.

 

Thought I might have something in my stash but this isn't a tube that I am familiar with. Looks like it is a pentode, similar but not identical to the el84. Good luck finding replacements.. dB

Thank you so much for asking and being willing to help! From what I've heard, the Decware can run EL84 tubes, but they seem to be universally panned as worse than the Russian ones.

Thank you - this is EXACTLY what I needed! I've been suffering from decision fatigue in my life in general, and the thought of looking for a reputable seller of uncommon tubes was not a high priority. This takes one decision off my to-do list! Thank you so much!
