Idea: will two amps sound better?

I have an idea, if I have two SE-amps, such as two Valis.

    Well,
    DAC(L-output)-RCA-amp#1-L channel
    DAC(R-output)-RCA-amp#2-R channel

The phones cable is modified, the terminus which connects with amp#1 (L) is only soldered to the L channel cable, the terminus which connects with amp#2 (R) is only soldered to the R channel cable.

You come up with the oddest questions and ideas...

This methodology is reasonably common in speaker systems using monoblock (single channel) amps. In speaker land, this allows for multi-amping multi-way speakers, reduced coupling between L and R channels, and to prove that you have a bigger audio ****.

The possible reasons for doing this for headphones are primarily:

    a. The power supply in the amp is insufficient for both channels
    b. Reducing the tiny amount of channel to channel coupling that exists due to parasitic capacitances between channels.

On the first point, this is not likely a problem. On the second, stereo separation is not really a big selling point in headphone land. Some people even go to the trouble of blending two channels with a crossfeed circuit to better emulate speakers.

    TL;DR - No.
