    Not to necro, but I'm very interested to see if there are any impressions for this piece as well. iFi makes some solid stuff, and if I could have all their gear in one box PLUS tubes... well... I'd be down!

    When the retro 50 was released, Ifi intimated (or outright said, can't remember, I am old) that the headphone amp/dac sections were exactly the same as the micro iDSD. When I heard it at RMAF 2014, I heard nothing to make me doubt that, but show conditions, so ymmv. I did have my micro iDsd with me, and listened back to back though so...evaluate as you will.
