If by "the fixed", you mean the DAC output, then no, that's not a huge surprise- it's the DAC output.

Even if there was a kludge to make it work, what would it gain you? It's line level to line level, without any of the benefits of attenuation/preamping. I think we call that sort of thing a "cable", unless I'm missing something obvious?

I agree entirely, I didn't think it would work and don't see a benefit to it personally, just answering their question

Thank you for sharing your manufacturing, supply chain and price elasticity expertise.

More seriously, it's hard as hell to design an excellent audio product with a lot of features at a BOM low enough for an MSRP of $99. That's why no one does it. Having done a lot of price elasticity studies in the space, I've found that 49, 99 and 499 are the three largest drop offs in terms of willingness to pay for self identified audiophiles. Note, there are a LOT MORE self identified audiophiles than you think. Anyone who buys a Bose stereo or beats headphones or who has listened to something at magnolia identifies as an audiophile.

You need to spend $300-500 to meaningfully improve on the Fulla 2. Also, if they made a $199 all in one, that would clobber the damn M2 stack. Why would they cause even more assortment woes?

Okay, since you insist, and since I don't want to get in trouble (especially this time of year)... done. :p;)

Yeah, the analog-in not overriding the fixed DAC out is actually what I was hoping for,and what I thought it sounded like schiit was saying was the case, but the wording slightly confused my not necessarily brilliant mind so I was curious. Thanks again HHS.

The (pretty terrible) UK Schiit dealer, who is very spotty about getting stock and actually replying to emails etc., is listing the Fulla 2 for £110:

    http://schiit.eu.com/dacs/fulla 2

That's a hilarious bit of speculative price gouging when the mainland European dealer is listing it for 99 euros:

    http://www.schiit-europe.com/index.php/producten/schiit-fulla-2-dac-headphone-amp.html

If the European dealer weren't prohibited by agreements from shipping to the UK, they'd be a much better option for all Schiit at this point. Otherwise, ordering direct from the US seems like the thing to do, as they are a pretty slick operation.

Update on the Fulla 2 iOS compatibility problem: I received my replacement unit today. It works perfectly. Very nice little device! Really happy with the quick turnaround on dealing with this problem. Thanks, @schiit!

Just received Fulla2 and started testing. Headphone/IEM terminated with TRS jack sounds fine but TTRS jack (has microphone on it) got distorted sound out of it. I do not experience this with Dragonfly Red on either of the jack... Is this normal?

Well, it wasn't a bust after all- with some help from customer service, I got some replacement units Fedexed out, which arrived today, so there shall be sound for Christmas! That's much better than having to source a lesser unit like a Dragonfly or a Fiio.

One of the units is perfect. The other one is only slightly faulty- the main microUSB socket is too small, and destroys plugs. I guess I will have to dismantle that one and gently have at the metal plate with a small file. I'll give the perfect one as a gift, though.

Anyway, shout outs to your customer service people, @schiit - Laura in customer service is professional and helpful, and a great representative of your company, credit where it's due.

Edit: Scratch that, I'm not going to dismantle/file/drill the hole out in case it causes more trouble. Stuff should work, out of the box.

My one also seem to have power source micro USB socket is too small and could not push it in and found a way. Tilt the male micro USB plug tip upward slightly and when the tip goes in and slides in easily. It works for my case.

I'll 2nd that. The ports feel tight, but it helps to give the plug a little tilt. It also loosened up a touch with repeated in and outs.

Yes. You're using a 1/4" adapter, right? Pull the 1/8" connector out of the adapter ever so slightly, and that will fix the connection.

If I ordered one and shipped it to Australia, would it work fine with any USB connection there? I assume laptops and desktops convert the particular wall voltage of a country to a standard voltage used inside motherboards but don't want to assume falsely.
