Ah, Finally home from work and the binge begins. Season two is upon us! It's been a terrible week so that's true in a couple of different ways. Love this show, very H.P. Lovecraft. Now that the two channel system is back up I'm reminded why this show turned me onto 80's music so much last year. If you watch it without a nice headphone or stereo rig you are missing out. It also reminds me of Stephen King's IT, the book, not the movies. Any fans?

Ten beers and halfway through episode four. Not Lovecraft or King. Jonathan and Nancy vibe…don't know what;s going to happen. More like Scooby Doo and those damn meddling kids.

Such a good show. Only watched first season and ep 1 of second season. Had parties to go to. Social life > TV show, though stranger things is really good...

Epic fail but I ran out of beer and move onto rum. Will try again in the morning. Now on to episode seven and I think this show really works due to character development as much as anything else. Makes sense really, if they aren't believable as real people than generally the story sucks no matter what you come up with,

cskippy, you get a second "like" for that! Amazing how a computer literate person can foul something up. Logging off for the night unless I get truly hammered, successfully manage the spoiler tag and think of something interesting.

love the character development here. Imagine a television love triangle where both males are actually good people…who would have thought. And by that I mean in most cases like this on screen, one party is almost always clearly inferior to the audience. Hurrah for real life….sometimes. I actually think Steve has the best arc in the show since he went from 80's deuchebag, to risking his life for someone he loves, to essentially risking it all for almost anyone. On a side note, I was convinced at one point Msx and her brother were Russian sleeper agents because it would fit with the period
Netflix binge complete. Commencing with the next one.

Oh, non-spoiler vinyl albums to hunt down from this, not sure of specifics but bands: Modern English, Foreigner, New Order, Cindy Lauper, The Bangles, Cory Hart, Space Knife, Scorpions probably more but those are the ones that caught my attention enough to pause and look up.
