Speakers: DIY 3 way "Saisho" / modded HD58X
I am a 30-ish years old engineer working in audio, have been into Audio since I was a teenager and have recently decided to upgrade my HiFi system.
I have backgrounds in acoustics, signal processing and physics and the curiosity to experiment to always optimize a system to perform at its best (my daily job).
At work, I am lucky to have access to a lot of equipments:
- 4x5m acoustically treated lab.
- Microphone
- Laser vibrometer (to measure speaker membrane excursion)
- DATS V2 to quickly measure components and driver impedance.
- Audio Precision AP277 and APX555
- Oscilloscope
- Accelerometer (to measure acceleration on side pannels of speakers)Interact
