    Gear List:
LAN NAS (UPNP) or Spotify OGG Vorbis ~320 kbps direct from router - no other switches in signal path > BJC Cat 6a > UpTone Audio EtherRegen powered by Ferrum Hypsos Hybrid PS at 12v > Holo Audio Red > I2S over HDMI > Gustard R26 R2R DAC with AfterDark Emperor Double Crown 10 MHz External Master Clock powered by iFi IPower2 at 12v > balanced AES/EBU > Topping Pre90 preamp > balanced AES/EBU > Parasound A23+ > NHT Classic Towers with dual sealed NHT subwoofers using miniDSP digital xover

My listening room has very good acoustical qualities with almost a constant 400 ms reverberation time versus frequency and almost no room resonances which need to be controlled. Directly over my speakers and subwoofers is a high canted ceiling which helps to break up vertical room modes. My room width is 13 feet, but the length is nearly 45 feet in total with a half wall separating the family room listening area from a kitchen dining area, then a kitchen area with counter extension separating it from the kitchen dining area, and finally an open doorway to a formal dining room - i.e. semi open floor plan.

I have removed all power strips with noise filtering and/or surge protection and replaced them with hospital-grade power strips. The goal is to minimize instantaneous current latency and maximize available instantaneous current slew rate from my home junction box. My wall receptacle has been upgraded to an isolated ground, audiophile grade (hospital+) from PS Audio. I unplug all my home theater/audio/computer gear during thunderstorms.
Retired acoustic test lab manager, engineering director, acoustical consultant, SAE Acoustical Materials Test Standards Committee Chairman (two terms)
