La Figaro 339

Not a whole lot of information about this amp on forums. The only website I've seen it reviewed on is Headfonia - a very positive review but that was 5 years ago. Virtually nothing on SBAF. Probably overlooked because it comes from China.

It looks beautiful, uses the 6AS7 family power tube, comes in either 6J4P or 6C5 variants, dual mono. Stock tubes are meant to be awful. Said to pair very well with the HD650.

Anyone actually heard it?

A contender for best OTL amp under $1,000?

Would love to hear how it compares to the Elise.

I've got one coming my way in the next couple of weeks so I'll guess we'll find out just how good it is. I chatted with a couple of people whose ears I trust and they recommended this over the Elise, Euforia and other sub $1,500 options without hesitation for the HD650 (what I'm building a rig around).

I'll be happy to post impressions but as this will be my first tube amp I'm not sure how useful they will prove to be.

Will be using a modded HD650, Atticus and HE-500 with a Gungnir Multibit, providing it'll actually be available in the UK by that point. I'm looking at tube options.

I was tempted to go all in and get a ZDS, but figured the money would be better spent upgrading from a Modi Multibit and not jumping in at the deep end straight away.

Hi Smithyy, I am very curious to know how it went with the LF 339 as I am very close to buy one for my hd650 and hd800. I expect to change stock tubes. Do you still have it or did you end game with a ZDS? (Same considerations )
