For sale is an Eddie Current Black Widow 2 (chassis no 17).

Lineage is via @JK47 and via @Elnrik (who I bought it from). This might be the only BW2 in Europe. The price of this unit reflects the considerable import duty I had to pay to get it into the UK. To my ears it works flawlessly but I am not a clinical listener and I've included the link to Elnrik's original sale below (please read it as he mentions some hums which he alleviated with good cable management which I didn't notice.) Also included in the sale (and in the photos) is a fuse and jumper to switch back to US voltage (despite the image of the rear saying it's 120v I switched it to 240v configuration for use in the UK and the EU - and if I can switch it you can switch it too - it's that easy). I would describe the overall condition as very good - there are a few very minor scratches which you only notice when examining it.

I absolutely love this amp for its warm, dark characteristics and its industrial build and good looks but I'm selling because I also own a 3F and I can't justify owning both. I would suggest this is a wonderful opportunity to own a truly rare and beautiful amp and for those based in the UK and Europe perhaps one of a kind.

I can ship globally and the price is: £1,100 net to me (somewhat less than I paid to get it into the UK) for friends and contributors only excluding shipping costs. I will listen to sensible offers as it's a tricky one to price. If it doesn't sell here it will go out to the wider world at a slightly higher price. Insurance and signature on receipt prerequisite of shipping which I can organise and give options for.

Black Widow vs the 3F? Good times.

    Good luck with your sale!

This is a super easy conversion to 120V for any potential US buyers. If purchased, I can assist with walking you through the jumper conversion or I would be glad to perform the service free of charge to any SBAF member.

I do believe it needs two jumpers for 120V.

That's right - for 240v conversion one of the jumpers is switched to an empty slot (still in the box) whilst one comes out (that one's in the bag in the picture with the US fuse) - if any US buyers are interested I can make the swap back to 120v configuration before it ships.
