    Lol nah! I’m of the opinion that for most applications for most people side channel attacks are on a non-issue and you can take care of them in those scenarios at the SW/application level

    Though there is probably lots of money to be made in that area if you can find a good way to correct those side channel attacks without sacrificing performance

    Ah, but that's not something app programmers usually think about. They consider it a system-level problem. Or a library problem. There are some libraries that "do the work" and throw it away because it's unneeded, simply for that reason, tho.

    Actually, the reality is that most apps will run just as fast without a bunch of threads.

    There are a few, but yes we're lucky to even have developers that can get stuff done even when there's no library to do it for them.
