Turntable is Pro-ject Classic Evo (has a metal platter). Have been using Pro-ject Leather it. Currently have cork, foam, and felt Pro-ject mats on loan from my local shop to try out.

Gem Dandy cork & rubber , $60. Standard issue on all Merrill turntables. Been down that hole,this is where the search ended.

@Pogo Looks great, thanks for the recommendation. For sure will add to my next order of diskeeper ultimate sleeves from Sleeve City. I am trying to put lipstick on a pig a bit as I really am not a fan of the Sumiko Amethyst cartridge that came on this turntable (recently warranty swap/upgrade and I haven't swapped my 103r back on), but figured it would be a fun experiment.

Very TT and cart dependent, but on my 1200 + 103r, I tried Herbies Way Excellent (returned), Dandy Cork and Rubber (returned), and settled on some kinda POS Corkery full cork from Amazon. It kinda split the difference between Herbies (lifeless) and Dandy (weird midrange, and lower treble).

I use Funk Firm Achromat. Definitely more of a detail mat than lush or punchy, but I came to eventually love how it sounds.
