    It’s weird cause all my other speakers have always been spiked. I tried this cause someone suggested it and I’d never done it before. But yeah, the spikes, specially since I’m on a concrete slab are much better

    it honestly sounds so much better. everything is more open, but more importantly the bass improved to an honestly crazy degree, much better impact and definition down low. @AdvanTech described it as removing a smear which I mostly agree with.
