    Hi pyrates friends,

Has anyone had an opportunity to hear the new range of iems from 64 Audio?

I am intrigued by the concept of ADEL as well as the relatively balanced sig they are aiming for with A10 & A6.

Zero opportunity to demo them where I live...

yes, they have a neat feature with this little earring-sized screw-in piece that can be twisted to adjust the level of ambient noise that you can hear. does have the weird (probably considered positive) side-effect of altering the imaging and sound stage giving everything a more spacious feel and live-type sound with some ambient noise. pretty niffy.

I have to say honestly my IEM experiences is quite limited regarding high-end stuff, so hard for me to comment on overall sound quality. I tried a more budget model and thought it was quite competitive for its price point. pretty natural sound. not v-shaped or overly warm or overly bright.

the echobox IEMs I would say are a tad bit on the brighter side for my personal tastes (which tend to be something along the HD650, K7xx, or PM-3 in terms of headphone sound signatures).

edit: a side note on the adel's, for their customizable tuning add-on thing, you have to match the ambient noise levels on both sides when tuning or else sounds a bit weird. I am really OCD with that kind of stuff, so likely would be fiddling with it all day hahah. noise leakage they said was minimal & wouldn't be apparent unless person was like ear to ear with you or you were blasting music at super high volumes
