Seeing as how there's a little more fun car/truck upgrades showing up lately, I figured I'd throw some pics up of this Southern Style Offroad Slimline bumper with a Badlands Apex 12k winch. I've been stockpiling parts for my Tacoma and now I'm finally getting around to the installs. Next up are a set of 4WheelParts rock sliders I got for an astronomical deal of $300 and then an ARB front locker. But I need to find a reputable diff shop since these Tacoma's use an idiotic clamshell front diff that requires you to pull the thing apart 88 times to set bearing preload and backlash, and i ain't got time for that.

Taco's are nice, tho, because there's a huge amount of space behind the bumper cover and grill so once you take out the aluminum crash bar, it's pretty easy to fit a big-dick 12k winch. I still need to get a couple battery distribution blocks to finish wiring in the winch and I can't find my snap ring pliers so I can't install the Factor55 closed-system winch block yet, but otherwise install was pretty simple and only took about 2 hours.

Nothing better than chopping up a truck I'm still making payments on!!

Also, having a 400W 120V inverter in the bed is pretty sweet to run the dremel tool.

Flip-up license plate mount that gets sandwiched behind the hawse fairlead.

Only about .5" between the back of the winch and the power steering cooler!
