It really is...and I've never tried to 'pitch' in any of my ads either. A couple HFers-and on a oldtimer you've likely heard of-pm'd me over there when I listed the E2s a couple months back when I was waiting for my Elites to arrive...glad I listened because those were probably my biggest audio regret-based on price performance. I should clarify I hated the E2 with perf pads, sounded like hd555s. Stock pads are nice, but the suedes significantly opened up the ss, more resolution and plankton, and kept the stunning bass. Fyi this was all through Wavelight/Studio B at the time, using either EML mesh or WE 300Bs. The only single area that was 'better' on the Elite was ss size and depth...but that mattered very little seeing as it sounded a bit nebulous, hazy and confused compared the the E2 stage...which was only slightly less holographic, but with way better imaging and cohesiveness. These traits were consistent through the Bryston bha-1 and Rag 1 too, not just the Studio.

Couple caveats: I probably wouldn't have kept the E2s if I hadn't heard them on the suedes-those just REALLY opened them up. Also, every bias of mine was WANTING to love the Elites-heirloom looks, build etc-but ugh you learn the hard way sometimes. Reminds me of my disappointment a decade ago with the 'upgraded' Woo WA5le...which got thoroughly smoked by the ZDSE that saved me thousands, and made me an EC believer.

Wow you nearly have me pulling this ad now kek. My very first Focal Utopia (2020 drivers) shows up in a day or two...and hopefully this E2 listing doesn't prove premature yet again...

Oh I didn't address your Q lol. Yeah maybe if these don't sell quickly, I could take you up on that.

Also forgot to mention I tried the Elites with both pad sets, but greatly preferred the stock pads like most people based on my reading. And maybe I got a unicorn E2, it is serial #500 which must mean something...

These are 100% on Utopia's level, and easily superior to the Elites. These deserve a second look by everyone imo, esp w/suede pads, or stock, but definitely not the perforateds. Maybe they are unicorns...
