Even: Custom tuned earbuds from guys who have never heard of the UE PRM?

Just saw these pop up on my facebook feed. Kind of an interesting idea, trying to give a personal equalization based on hearing sensitivity in each ear on an 8-band eq. Yes, there are some problems! Those are fun to bitch about.

I imagine the real test uses their earbuds which may or may not be crappy. Okay, they are probably crappy. My "even" just seems a bit louder than non-even and louder sounds better, omg! But, for someone who didn't put every band in the "mid" loudness range, maybe it'd be like "glasses for your ears" or whatever slogan they focus-grouped.

I've seen this somewhere, maybe on head-fi. Looks a little gimmicky. Love that word btw.
