FS: A&S Black Box XLR-RCA Converter w/ Input Transformers

(Apologies for not consolidating recent sales into one post, but my divestment process is not exactly linear at the moment.)

So what we have here is the gadget found on the Ampsandsound web site: https://ampsandsound.com/products/xlr-to-rca-converters. I ran this from a Yggdrasil to a SE tube pre to great effect and would recommend it to anyone in those particular shoes. Top to bottom, the whole sound gets crisper, more vivid. Me? I've decided I'm done with the gymnastics and I'm going XLR to XLR and SE to SE and never the twain shall meet.

6-7 months old and retails for $550. Condition is excellent. I mean, you'd have to throw it onto the freeway to do any real damage. I'm offering it to Friends/Contributors for $400 (includes FedEx shipping), which saves you about $175 all told. CONUS only. Paypal F&F accepted. I'll leave this up exclusively on SBAF until Friday.

 

Do you know which transformers are used? Remember reading about these somewhere awhile ago but can't recall.

I can vouch for how excellent these things are. I used them while demoing his Mogwai SE, which is also awesome. Didn't have the cash to get either at the time.
