FS: Conrad-Johnson CT5 tube preamplifier

For sale is my Conrad-Johnson CT-5 preamp. While I am the second owner of this fine preamp, I bought it essentially new from the 1st owner who sold it to me only 3 weeks after purchasing it new from his C-J dealer. Remote, original manual, and OEM box, packing materials and power cord. Price is $4000 plus shipping to Lower 48 CONUS destination plus Paypal fee.

Description
One of C-J's best-ever preamps, fully comparable in performance to the legendary ACT2. Superb sound quality: transparent, clean, quiet, natural-sounding with excellent bass definition and articulation and extended, airy highs. Superb, 3-dimensional imaging. This fine preamp will reflect upgrades in your sysem and bring out the best of your components. Low output impedance of 800 ohms makes it easy to pair with amplifiers. Excellent condition functionally and cosmetically. No nicks in the front panel, only a couple of very light, thin "scuffs" at the back of the the top cover, which are very hard to see unless viewed at just the right angle (these do not show up in photos). The rear left and right top edges of the back panel each have a single, very small area where the paint has rubbed off (see photos 4 & 5). The edges of C-J chassis' are very sharp, and it's likely the paint just rubbed off. Comes with the Sovtek 6N30P "DR" tubes, which are super-durable. Remote, original manual, and OEM power cord.
