Summer is approaching (is it?) and I just looked through all the stuff that hasn't been used for a while. There's quite a lot and I probably won't be using any of these anytime soon, or ever again.

I always take good care of my gear, but I also buy used so not everything is in pristine condition. I will add the "Audiogon" rating next to each gear.

Things will be added to the list in the near future.

Prices are net to me. Pick up is always an option in Los Angeles (Westside).

    Accessories
    • $100 - LKS LPS-25-USB 5V
      Condition: 8/10
Great compact form factor PSU for 5V devices (e.g. Raspberry Pi streamers). Dual outputs (DC jack + USB type A) for up to 3.5A combined
    DACs
    • $600 - Proceed AVP-2
      Condition: 7/10
Now this is something special! A great audio/video processor from yesteryear! Designed by Proceed, sister company to Mark Levinson in the golden era of DA converters.
This thing has many digital inputs (1x Toslink, 1x AES, 1x BNC, 4x Coax) and a great balanced pre-amp built-in.
Used to cost $6,000, but value dropped significantly when newer video formats came out (what's "HDMI"? ). The audio part, however, is still relevant today and a great way to get much of the quality of the mega-bucks DACs of that time, at a fraction of the cost.
These usually go for much more (there's one for sale on eBay for $1300 as I'm writing this), but I got it at a good price and there's a small catch: the display is missing a few columns by the volume portion. This is a common issue today with Proceed's AVP (1 or 2) and this one is not exempt. One can still make out the actual volume level, though. The cosmetic condition is otherwise very good!

    • [SOLD] $1700 - Metrum Jade (USB + I2S)
      Condition: 8/10
Small scuffs on the corner edges of the face-plate (facing back, so not visible under normal viewing angles).
Stripped screw, which will need to be extracted if you ever want to swap the USB module back in (not sure why you would, though :p).
Works flawlessly and an overall excellent DAC that sings so well (especially in I2S)! I'm upgrading, so I'm reluctantly letting this go...

    • [SOLD] $1700 - iFi Pro iDSD (4.4mm) + SBooster BOTW PSU
      Condition: 8/10
Actual cosmetic condition is a 9/10, but the display is missing a few lines at the top. This does not impede the usability or readability (they are very thin lines), but I need to mention it. Thee number and position actually varies, depending on when it turns on, but it's always in the top part (where the "DSD" or "PCM" logos are). It's actually pretty stylish :)
Comes with an upgraded Linear power-supply, for better performance. The original PSU is also included, along with the original box and all accessories.
The SBooster PSU also comes in its original box, with all accessories.
This must be the most versatile DAC I've owned, so far! It's clearly a Jack of all trades (and master of none) device, that really shines as an AIO. It is also small enough to be moved around the house. It is currently the central hub in my office, driving both my headphones and Focal Solo6 monitors. I also have the original PSU waiting for it in my bedroom (for music, duh!) so I can just plug it in and am ready to hook it up to my phone with USB.
The USB input is great, too (I don't say that often!).
In terms of performance, it's in the same class as the Metrum and Matrix Element-X / X-Sabre Pro.
    Headphone amps / Preamps
    • [SOLD] $250 - Schiit Saga (OG)
      Condition: 9/10
Bought when it came out, with both tubes, but never really had a use for it (most of my gear is balanced), so it got very little use in the last couple years.
Comes with original box, both tubes and both remotes (plastic and metal - the plastic one seems to work better).
Note: I just realized I used its box to ship my JotR a few weeks back (box stuck at work, again... :(). This will ship in a different box.
    • [SOLD] $150 - Schiit Asgard 3
      Condition: 9/10
Bought when it came out. Was using it at work for a while but not since I brought my Lyr 3 there.
The original box is stuck at work :)(), so it will ship in a different box, without any cable or accessories.
    • [SOLD] $450 - Monoprice Cavalli Liquid Platinum
      Condition: 9/10
Just RMA'd this amp and received the replacement 10 min ago. I plugged it in to check that it's working fine (it is). Rated 9/10 as I don't know if they sent me a brand new unit or not. It does look flawless.
This comes with an updated PSU, which now takes standard IEC C13 (kettle) power cords, as opposed to the annoying C5 ("Mickey Mouse") plug of the earlier revisions!
    Power amps
    • [SOLD] $400 - Anthem MCA 20 (Black)
      Condition: 6/10
Bought used a while back, in that condition. Some scuffs on the top, including a scratch on the top edge of the face-plate.
This amp is quite the beast (2x225W) and was driving my HE-6 for a LONG time, until I sold them.
Very similar to the MCA 225 that's still for sale today ($1599) and considered a bargain at full price (see user reviews on Audio Circle).
      No accessories.

That's it for now. Stay tuned for the rest of the stuff!

I can confirm that the Asgard and Saga have arrived in good condition: there was a dented corner on the shipping box, but the extra padding @Clemmaster put in prevented any damage. Pleasure doing business!

My heart stopped beating for a moment... but resumed 18 ms later!

Glad things arrived OK. It was quite an exercise to pack 2 devices in a large flat-rate box with only random packing material at my disposal (I usually ship from work, which has a lot more options...) :D
