Fostex PM0.4d-Active Speakers- Dual Digital Amp-4 Inch Two-Way Powered Monitors

These are the great sounding speakers for a desktop computer setup. Get a decent dac to connect to your computer and run it into these powered monitors. Great sound with excellent midrange and no boom or sizzling highs. A very well balanced speaker that does not take up too much room.

Fostex PM0.4c Personal Active Speaker System @ $229 for a new pair.

The PM0.4c is the newer replacement and is a model that uses less powerful and cheaper amps.

Sometimes older is BETTER!

This older model features separate amps for both speakers. No cheap zip cord that is used on the newer model connecting from one speaker and with the single smaller amp in it to the other, but rather an unbalanced TS input. And you get TWO more powerful amps per speaker, one for the tweeter and one for the woofer.

BTW, you can get a simple RCA to TS adapter to hook up whatever length shielded TS cable to a regular RCA output dac. And you get TWO amps per speaker, one for the tweeter and one for the woofer.

I have used these for about a year and they are in excellent shape. Non-smoking household. Includes Speakers and Power Cords, packed in original box. Fostex does not supply TS cable, since they do not know lengths needed.
