FS: Hagerman Cornet 3 Phono Pre-amp + Lounge Copla MC Headamp

Just to throw out there I am currently on the hunt for a reasonably priced Schiit DAC like a Bifrost Uber w/ USB if you happen to do trades.




Hagerman Cornet 3 - Tube Phono Pre-Amp

I picked this up second hand recently and had grand visions to replace my current setup but I just can't bring myself to commit to it long term. Very cool phono pre- and certainly more detailed than what I currently use (BH Seduction). This one was factory built.

Cosmetically it has a light scratch on a side and I can see some tiny plastic stress marks from the bolts.

It comes with the original tubes, power adapter, instruction booklet, and I will throw in a CONN/Sylvania 12AU7.

This is a neat device and in my case it did in fact benefit the sound greatly (DL-110) but I am likely going in a different direction with my cart choice.

It is in excellent overall condition but note a little bit of screen printing has disappeared on the volume slider and a small knick on the right.

For those that don't know, headamps like this tend to act like "active" step up transformers to help add gain/MC capability to MM only phono pre-amps like the lounge LCR. The Copla varies gain and impedence at the same time with the front knob, it's sort of like adjusting your cart loading via the knob.
