I wanted to share this on SBAF as I know we have some Hattor/Khozmo/Goldpoint/etc passive preamp fans around here and this is a fun companion. I had always wanted to try this out, so even though I did not need it (I liked how my system sounded and really just wanted a transparent pre and remote control) I decided to order it along with my most recent purchase from Arek of Hattor/Khozmo. It is a beast of a tube gain stage, technically quite impressive and built from quality parts. I was very impressed by it and it provided a nice flavor for my system, but ultimately I just did not need it and it had too much gain for my tiny room nearfield system. My loss is your gain, if you have been curious about this like me, or you need a bit more gain or the option to switch into tube mode on occasion this is your chance.

Asking price for SBAF friends and contributor is $100 less than whatever I have it at on USAM (so as of right now that is $1350 to friends and contributors). Retail is $1900, but full disclosure I got a bit of a discount due to bundling with my Hattor the Big purchase.
