Just picked up a set of HEKse, so HEKv2 on block. Listed for $1600 obo on HeadFi. So make me an offer :)

I'm the second owner -- probably 400 hours between me and original owner.

Note that the pics highlight the wear on the headstrap and condition of the pads.

Neither are at the point of failure or requiring replacement, but both are clearly not 'like new'. Pads are probably good for at least as much use again. Strap is 'I don't know'. I've never had one fail on me, so I don't know what 'almost there' would look like. I suspect it has lots of wear left, but can't say for sure.

New pads are $80. A new strap would be $50. Luckily neither needs to come from China -- Hifiman Customer Services says they have the straps in their New York warehouse, and pads are available for sale lots of places.

Key thing is that they sound great without any issues. I'm only selling them because I lucked into a great price on an HEKse.

I've got the original packaging and accessories (all three cables). I've also got some after-market cables which I could throw in for cheap (4ft Lavricable 2.5mm TRRS or 6ft Silver Dragon XLR).

Note that these cans have 2.5mm jacks, not the 3.5mm jacks used on the se-series (HEKse, HE6se...)

Non-US sales are possible, but we'll have to negotiate shipping and the PayPal 'cross-border' and currency fees.
