FS: Holo May KTE Dac (California pickup / drop off preferred)

I have it listed on USAM and HF https://www.head-fi.org/classifieds/holo-may-kte-dac.70202/ for $4650 plus split shipping. I’ll take offers here for a couple hundred off, let’s say $4450 plus split shipping but I strongly prefer Cali pickup. I am based in LA and will be driving to the Bay Area and Sacramento (let’s meet at Skip’s!) around the 4th. If we don’t have to deal with shipping, that’s like another $200 in shared savings.

This is a special DAC, I don’t want to overhype it but it bested my Yggdrasil A2 about 8 months ago. Pretty clearly in the clarity of the mids and in left right separation and coherence. I added a Purple fuse and it was responsible for my belief in the validity of fuse rolling. (On my Glenn, fuse upgrade = horrible, sucks all the magic out but on this source, it made it bigger in all directions). For SBAF contributors and pyrites, with pickup, I’ll include both the upgraded KTE and the synergistic purple fuse and you can tell me I’m wrong for free. I am trying to heavily incentivize pickup in person.

I am selling because I received my Abbas U1 and I find this totl tube dac and tube amp combo to be a grander experience, more holographic, more surface area and surprisingly little sacrifice in clarity. Tubes upon tubes pleases me and doesn’t sacrifice anything. I’m blown away by the Abbas.

edit: Bay Area and Sacramento road trip not happening now but LA pickup always open and I will be up near Santa Ynez a week later.
