EDIT 3/5/2021: Starlett, Porta pros, XLR attenuators, rca-XLR adapters, schiit sys + pyst cable sold
    EDIT 3/9/2021: Drevo Keyboard sold

    Why I'm Selling:

I'm in the process of slowly minimizing my belongings, and I've made the tough decision to streamline my audio setup to one dac/amp that best matches my personal preferences: ECP Walnut X Dac -> ECP 3FS. So a lot of great gear that survived the first two garage sales is up for sale. The other stuff is random bits and pieces I thought I would use, but just never really did, true garage style fashion.

    DNA Starlett, lots of rectifiers/drivers/input tubes -- $1750 + shipping/paypal fees
    • Bought here from @tommytakis several months ago. This is unit #2 and I am the third owner.

    • Got the volume knob static issue inspected and fixed by Donald North himself; the volume knob has been replaced, and the unit sounds good as new (cost $200 to repair).

      • We don't know for sure, but the static was probably caused by a previous owner rolling an input tube that was out of spec, damaging the volume knob over time. That input tube has been trashed and will not be included with this.
    • Lots of tubes provided (worth hundreds):
      • (For reference, my favorite pairing was 5U4G RCA rectifier, Sylvannia Drivers, and Silvertone Input)
      • Rectifiers: 1x 5AR4 Gold Lion, 2x 5U4G RCA (my preference), 1x 5U4GB RCA
      • Drivers: 2x Sylvannia, 4x Westinghouse Electric, 2x Dumont
      • Inputs: 1x Silvertone, 1x General Electric
    • Selling because:
      • 3FS matches my personal preferences more: it's tighter, grippier, less bloomy/wet, less rounded, and more resolving to my ears, and I ultimately prefer that presentation better than Starlett for my tastes (lots of EDM, J-rock, more aggressive sounding modern stuff)
      • This hopefully will not detract from Starlett at all-- it's an amazing amplifier, and I can see it being TOTL/end-game material for some. Hopefully the Starlett's excellence needs no further explanation.
      • 3FS is just more compact and no longer need to deal with the extra clutter/nervosa/maintenance that comes with tubes.

Andix Audio HPA-45 Bundle, with LPS and nice cables -- $850 + shipping/paypal fees
    • Bought from a head-fier several months ago. I am the second owner.

    • Not much info is available on this amp, but I dug a lot from researching online when I first got the amp. Some notable features:
      • Uses 45 tubes and 6UA6A tubes, and features two-stage amplification and is DHT.

      • Uses fixed biasing which can be easily done using a flat-head screwdriver and monitoring the ampage meter (I can help out post-sale).

      • Is an all-in-one with built-in Wolfson WM5841 dac fed by usb, spdif rca, optical digital inputs, and aux 1/8" and phono analog inputs.
      • Internal wolfson dac is very good and synergizes well with the dac. The amp does scale with other dacs, but honestly I would just use it with the internal DAC as it's good enough.

      • In particular, sounds awesome when fed using a pi2aes!
      • Features 1/8" headphone outputs with selectable gain settings (high/low) and speaker outputs (can drive efficient speakers with up to 1.5W of power).
      • Accepts 12V external power supply (>4amps recommended). The amp does sound better with a LPS, which will be included.
      • Very compact size of 8.5"x4.5" (about the size as half a sheet of printer paper!), which is remarkable for all the functionality packed in.
      • Output transformers are hand-wound by a guy who used to work at tango. They're the Andix Audio S-14 transformers with highlight core.

    • This will include:
      • Andix Audio HPA-45 amplifier

      • Basic 12V/5A Laptop Power supply
      • 12V/6A Zerozone Linear Power supply and cable

      • Basic rca-1/8" aux cable

      • 5 sets of 6AU6A tubes (3 gray plates, 2 black plates)

      • 2 sets of 45 tubes (RCA cunningham pair, National Union 45 pair
    • Other notes:
      • Head-out is 1/8" only (worth repeating)

      • This amp is hand-made in Japan by Andix Audio

      • AFAIK you cannot order this amp anywhere other than Japan; the original buyer carried it over by hand when visiting from Japan.
      • I'm not sure if this amp is being produced anymore.
      • The sound I'd describe as neutral, and pairs better with warmer dacs (the built-in dac synergizes very well with it). It has some tasteful tube bloom in the upper bass and midrange that lend a nice quality to vocals. Sounds really good on high gain. It's been described as "mini-euforia esque".

    • Selling because:
      • Simplifying my setup to one amp (3FS) to reduce clutter/take up less space

    Various cables/adapters/tubes:
    • ZMF 2K Copper 4ft XLR cable (eidolic connectors, burgundy splitter) -- $325 shipped -- SOLD
      • Terminated with eidolic mini-XLR headphone terminations, and eidolic 4-pin XLR amp terminations.

    • ZMF Verite Silver 5.5ft XLR cable (eidolic connectors, brass splitter) -- $425 shipped -- SOLD
      • Terminated with eidolic mini-XLR headphone terminations, and eidolic 4-pin XLR amp terminations.
      • Verite Silver cable has slight yellowing on silver connectors near the brass splitter (hard to see in photos).
    • Mini-XLR to LEMO (utopia) connector adaptors: $40 shipped -- SOLD
      • Can be paired with either of the above ZMF cables to make them compatible with the focal utopia.

    • Surf Audio Standard Oppo PM-3 cable (1/8" aux to 2.5mm) - $20 shipped

    • (2x) XLR 20DB attenuators - $20 shipped for both -- SOLD
      • Can be used with 3F or other balanced amp to give more volume pot room.

Koss Porta Pros -- $10 shipped
    • I think I bought this sometime 2018? It's in great condition and will come with the storage bag.
    • Hopefully it needs no introduction. It's excellent for what it is, and is a great value for the price. Like regular porta pros, sounds a bit on the warmer side.

    • Selling because:
    • Bought for curiosity, used it for a few hours, then it kinda been my "safety check" headphones before plugging into any amps to make sure I didn't screw anything up lol. But it's not needed for me anymore.

    EarStudio HE100 -- $10 shipped
    • Bought these on a whim as an impulse buy sometimea year or so ago, but never really used them. They are in like-new condition.
    • These make good emergency earbuds, and they're bad, but nothing to write home about. Not the greatest at $70 list price, but at $10 is a lot better than skullcandy haha.

Xiaomi Retro Portable Speaker -- $10 shipped
    • Bought this sometime in 2018 for $60. It's in great condition
    • Can't find aliexpress link, but here it is on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/c/10024595664
    • Selling because: I'm just clearing out my portable bluetooth speakers because I just don't use any of them.

Denon Envaya 150BT Portable Bluetooth Speaker - $45 shipped
    • Bought this in 2018 while in Japan for ~$150. It's in great condition
    • Selling because:

      • This speaker sounds excellent and really good for its size, but I rearely use portable speakers anymore and can't justify keeping this.
      • The real kicker: battery drains down when powered off pretty quickly :( I'd say in a week or two.

Drevo Blademaster Pro Mechanical Keyboard (cherry mx brown switches) - $50 shipped
    • Backed this on kickstarter sometime 2019 for ~$120. Never used it, just opened box-- it's in like new condition.
    • Selling because:
      • Realized I'm not a mechanical keyboard fan; I prefer the more compact apple magic keyboard just because it's more compact.
      • If you like mechanical keyboards though, I think you'll like it. It uses cherry mx brown switches and is built really nicely.

Thanks tommy, it took me days to write everything out, take pictures, and format so I appreciate that a lot :)

I have a Drevo myself and it works perfectly so in case you are wondering, I have had several mechanical keyboards and this one is very well built and the software, although not super polished, works as intended.

Just one last bump that the andix is still available before posting on head-fi and USAM tomorrow. It is a really great tube all-in-one and it would be awesome and preferred to go to a sbaf member :)

Everything else has sold except for the spare 45 tubes and surf audio oppo pm-3 cable.
