FS: Sony PHA-3, Senn HD800SDR, Fidelio X2, CA Andromeda (sold), Sony ZX2 (sold)

Selling bunches of stuffs. Help me fund new home office stuff and/or some speakers.

Sony PHA-3. This is practically new. I purchased for a particular purpose then changed my mind (derp). Nice little device, though. Asking $500 shipped ConUS.'



Next, modified HD800 classic. These have the SDR mod installed along with a cork ring on the driver surround/trapezoid and some of the sbaf material (cut down to taste). I can include some of this material if wanted. I've also hardwired these headphones. I used bulk Black Dragon cable for this. The cable's not perfect aesthetically, but it's pretty close. I've been super happy with it. The headphones themselves are in good shape with some of the typical wearing of paint at edges typical with these cans. There's also a very tiny tear in the screen material in front of the driver in one cup (see pics, see if you can find it haha). Asking $760 shipped ConUS.

Up next, Sony ZX2. I'm the second owner of this particular ZX2. It is in very good condition with one very notable exception. There are a few gouges/scrapes on the frame near the top right of the screen, metal exposed. I have a TPU case on the ZX2 which completely covers the blemish - but it's still there (see pics). I put a tempered glass screen protector on it. It's still in great shape. I have a 256gb micro sd card I will also let go if wanted (confirm it works with zx2). Asking $525 shipped ConUS for player itself, $610 for player plus sd card.



Up first, a set of Campfire Audio Andromedas in superb condition. The only markings I see anywhere are on the y-splitter (see pics). I will include a bunch of tips (ortofon M and L, spiral dots M, spinfits) and a UE buffer jack. Asking $875 shipped ConUS.



Lastly, a Philips Fidelio X2. These are in pretty good shape with a few scuffs on the rings that hold the cups (see pics). Asking $160 shipped ConUS.

 

Which version of the zx2 is it? European? Please say no. Excellent deal.

 

I believe @thegunner100 has been looking for ZX2 for a while now.

 

If gunner wants it, I'll give first dibs for him. I used to own one, before that shit was stolen, so only fair to give him first shot. If not, and it's not European, I'll gladly take it.

 

I'm actually not sure. How do you tell? I'll take a look shortly.

-edit- Just tried cranking the volume all the way up and didn't get a warning. Anything else to check?

 

I'm not too sure, maybe you can check with Sony on their website with serial number? Someone else smarter than me will offer advice.

Okay so to clear up any confusion for anyone else looking for a ZX2, I looked through a bunch of pictures and HF listings to see which ones would be considered US, EU, or JP.

USA version with the BC and FCC logo.


EU version with the C, E, !, and trash can logos.


JP version with no logos.

 

@thegunner100 Nice find bro. That will help in the future for sure. I might go back to best buy tomorrow and give it another listen vs my Cowon P1, which I really love. Not sure if I should get another zx2 or get a Cowon S. Used zx2 and new Cowon S is the way to go.
