FS: VPI JMW 10.5i metal arm wand, Counter Intuitive, Wood Box

One of the nice things about the VPI/JMW arm design is the ability one has to pop the arm wand off and drop on another one (presumably with a premounted and prealigned second cart, such as mono) in a minute or two.

Here's a very nice condition used JMW 10.5i arm wand, with the Soundsmith Counter Intuitive included. This sale also includes a wine box that is custom made for storing the arm. These custom boxes go for about $90 on Agon alone. This is, as you can see, the metal arm - not the saggy epoxy shit.

Purchased this from bazelio a few months ago with some grandiose plans but have since abandoned them. I never got to use it. Selling for what I paid. $600 net to me.

 

That Counter Intuitive is a huge help in getting that arm calibrated. Good deal!

A great way to go if you want a both a stereo and mono cart on a single-arm VPI plinth. Or two different stereo carts for that matter!! We don't judge.
