High end tube amps for planars

I have the WA5-LE first version with upgraded caps. I'm running either Elrog or Sophia royal princess 300B with TSRP and sophia rectifier. I use it more as my every day amp where the Stratus is for special occasions. With Abyss/LCD-4/3 I don't feel the WA5 is superior. It's very good but the highs are just a bit rough compared to the Stratus and the midrange is better defined for lack of a better word though the soundstage is just a tad larger on the woo. I don't feel the extra power is any advantage even compared to the 600i. The stratus currently has Fivre 2A3 mono, 422A and a 6N1P-E. I feel the need to specify the tubes I use otherwise it's pointless to compare them.
